85% to 20% not last for 8hr with below average use.
60hz refresh display mode on ,Extra dim on ,Adaptive battery on, no location, dark mode is on,
Sync on.

Battery protection is on.
Overall enabled all bettery saving options, expect power saving mode.

Hmm...if you r a normal user, then ur battery is a issue. Maybe it'll resolve once samsung release a fix for it in February maybe 🤔. Meanwhile on days u want more battery for emergencies etc just charge it 100% n use it normally.

Ya thank you for your input.
But charging it 100% is not good for battery life , hence samsung also give bettery protection option .

20% to 90% charge cycle is idle for good battery lifeScreenshot_20220204-180933_Device care.jpg

Oh... I said when on special n important days like job related or going on a trip/vacation ..where you want your phone to be with you always having full or close enough charge to last a day, then having 100% charge is okay, like once in a while 😊🤗

85% to 34% that is 49% of battery use and you have got SOT of 3h 55m that is a decent battery according to me.
And this is the first update of One UI 4.0 so there would be bugs and issues always, wait for another update which will resolev these issues.

No need to worry, Above Average Battery life.

Dear Samsung member,

Greetings from Samsung customer support.

Thank you for sharing your concern. We acknowledge your query and apologize for the same. And please follow the easy troubleshooting steps which might help to solve the issue.
Battery optimization helps you to boost the battery performance of your device. To check battery optimization:

Settings > Select Device Maintenance/Device Care > Optimize > Optimize all options like Battery, Storage and Memory

Kindly turn off the smart features of the device and other connectivity features when not in use, which will eventually help you to reduce battery power consumption (smart features such as Motion gestures in advance feature and Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Hotspot, etc.).

Please follow the below steps:
1. Swipe down on the home screen to open the notification panel.
2. Tap on Bluetooth, Location/GPS, Wi-Fi, Mobile hotspot, NFC, etc. to turn off.

In case the issue still occurs. Please register your concern in Samsung Members Application (Open Samsung Members Application > Get help > Send Feedback > Error report).

Thank you for writing to Samsung.
Warm regard,
Samsung customer support
