Hi guys

I am having issues with storage on my S20F

I have installed an SD card and have moved everything I can think of across and still I have 98% used.

I have apps - 20.68gb

System 20.82

Other 85.09gb

When I analyse the other, there are duplicate files (which I will clean out) but also 'large files' which appear to be on  OneDrive .  How do I clear up this space without losing them all together please.

Thank you

Yea I too have same doubts, firstly not every app has option to be moved to SD card and in my phone I cannot see the contents of this "other" folder of internal storage. One other general thing relating to SD card is when you start to use the SD card you have to properly n safely "unmount" it using the "advanced settings" under storage settings page whenever you decide to take out(eject) the SD card, if not done properly without unmounting first chances of corrupting the SD card is always high, I have done this mistake many times n got my SD card corrupted on other phones...that's why I'm pointing it out here for everyone to read😊😉🤗

IT'S SHOWING BCOZ YOU HAD SELECTED AS STORAGE

IF YOU SIGNED OFF ONE UI FROM MY FILES APP IT WILL NOT SHOW YOU THAT

IF YOU WANTS TO CHECK IT
YOU CAN TRY
FIRST SIGN OUT FROM ONE DRIVE ON MY FILES AND THEN CHECK STILL SHOWING??

AND FOR DETAILED INFORMATION OF OTHERS

DEVICE CARE > STORAGE > CLICK ON 3DOTS > ADVANCED
NOW YOU WILL SEE MORE DETAILS OF OTHERS FILES

CHECK WHICH APPS DATA ARE THERE

but it's already on onedrive - what is the reason for moving it back to sd card?  I just need to remove it from the phone?

I did a quick search n learned it's cache n app data, thumbnails etc...you should search like "how to clear other in Android storage" in YouTube there's a lot of videos there, it's a common issue in Android every1 says😊, I only started using my samsung 3 weeks ago and on my previous device I just reset it when I couldn't clear all those junk files, it was easier that way, backup first n reset to a fresh device 😊🙂
