In my 1 month old Galaxy S22 Plus, I have started to notice occasional crackling sound/ distortion in audio from both its speakers & also the earpiece.
It happens with Notification sound, ringtone, media playback & also listening to audio calls.
This happens atleast once a day for a while, and then it goes away on its own after a while, or if I restart the device. Earlier, I was using Android 12, and yesterday I upgraded to Android 13 and the issue has persisted in both versions. Please suggest what I should in this case.

I have Same issue on my sansung s21 fe, in my case speaker distorts only while taking calls in speaker and with ringtone and notification sounds and in every other app it works fine, I went to service center they said it would be probably software issue and they re-installed software, even after that I'm getting those issues again, I took device to service center once again they said they have to keep device for 1 or 2 days to test the issue, but I haven't submitted my device as last time they returned me with few scratches, just hoping next update fixes it.😧

Don't give the device to the service centre unless it's a hardware issue. All they gonna do is wipe your data and install the software again. Which you can so yourself.

Also, you should raise complaint about manhandling your device. Next time onwards, take photos of your device from every possible angle before submitting it to the service centre. I do that. Most of them are careless, unskilled and desperate. They will throw your phone on the desk, slide it, etc.

Anyone from Samsung India here? Its disappointing how several units from the Galaxy S22 series has this issues, and the same is discussed by various users online in different portals. And Samsung is not even acknowledging this issue.

Facing the same issue ... It's a software bug ...if it was a hard ware issue then issue would have persisted for long ...
