Sound with screen off, it would be a great features to be add on future one ui update. Mostly it would help on (youtube) saving some battery.

Example if you watching some content in youtube, if you need sound only not screen to be turned on. Then the sound with screen off will save some battery. Hope you can understand

While youtube is on in background how will the battery be saved...it will be running in background na sound is on means the video is still be running in youtube app...and if as you said the company will introduce such feature in which only youtube sound is running and no video thn those feature youtube will promote it as premium features and youtube will only allow such features to run to those usera who pay for it monthly....also umi told you it will not save battery because you remember youtube pip feature in which video is playing in a small window in background even if we are out of app those features afterwards youtube only removed and added for inly subscribers how would pip like features save battery bro any more eg??

Bro if you use xiaomi or poco phone, I mentioned feature was available. Generally the screen on time consume battery that be saved while audio be played but screen turn off. Bro for better understanding search on youtube "video tool bar play audio with screen off " .

Ok i never used xiami phones is it..
But one thing is sure if such features will be intro in future in all phones people will be crazy
All they should make it sub free as well good👍

Using iqoo device i found this feature thats called background stream in my iqoo device youtube in which youtube plays in background even if we lock the phone youtube video still plays but that drains battery very fast in my iqoo phone really fast draining battery the above feature doesnt save battery much 😑

But in my old device poco f1 using this features helps me to save battery on long 1hrs podcast sessions, even it avoid accidental touches.
