Let me know your thoughts. Saw a lot of post that is buggy and even caused lines in screen. I should taken iPhone 15 instead of S23. I am doubting my decision of buying s23

Yeah, the update's cool. Things look and move better. I am getting some heat, but not with normal stuff. My phone usually gets hot when I'm on Revanced YouTube, which didn't happen before.

If your phone has warranty then update if not then hold, because my s23 base variant got 3 lines (one yesterday). It's better if you have samsung care+ extended warranty. Yes the one ui 7 has many cool features, but the risk of getting lines is also high means 60% chance. Lines appears two or three days after update. Remember it's a 60% chance the lines may or may not appear.

Just remove phone cover, download the update and while installing the update put it in air tight plastic bag then put that bag in refregerator for 5 to 7 minutes. The cooling will help against display burning issue while updating the phone.

I've been a victim of the green line after updating to one UI 7. Yes, if you have warranty then you can update it, no issues, else I would say hold or if uou badly need it get it updated by from the service center.
