Dear Samsung Member,

Greetings from Samsung Customer Support!

As per your concern, we want to inform you that According to Google’s policy of the latest Android U OS (One UI 6. x) SW version, when using Family Link, there exists a method to bypass device restrictions using the Secure Folder on the phones logged in with children's Samsung accounts. Therefore, creating(installing) a Secure Folder has been restricted.

This behaviour follows Google’s policy set for the Family Link feature and is considered a normal operation. So, if you would like to use the Secure Folder, please log in with your own Samsung account instead of a child account.

Affected to: All models installed with Android U OS (One UI 6.0) or later version.

Warm Regards,
Samsung Customer Support
