Hello Varun31071986,
Thank you for reaching out in the Samsung Members community.

We understand how concerning it can be to experience unexpected screen flickering on a premium device like the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

Screen flickering can occasionally result from software glitches, incompatible third-party applications, or display setting conflicts. To help you resolve this, please follow these official troubleshooting steps:

1. Verify Display Settings
Certain display features can sometimes cause erratic screen behaviour under specific lighting conditions.
Go to Settings > Display.
Toggle off Adaptive Brightness to see if the flickering stops.
Scroll down and ensure the Extra dim feature is also toggled off.

2. Check for Software Updates
We continuously release software patches to optimize device performance and fix known bugs.
Navigate to Settings > Software update.
Tap Download and install to ensure your device is running the latest firmware.

3. Boot into Safe Mode
Safe Mode temporarily disables all downloaded applications. If the screen stops flickering while in Safe Mode, a recently installed third-party app is likely causing the interference.
Swipe down from the top of the screen to access the Quick Settings panel, and tap the Power icon.
Touch and hold the Power off icon until the Safe mode prompt appears.
Tap Safe mode to restart.
(To exit Safe Mode, simply restart your phone normally).

4. Wipe Cache Partition
Clearing the system cache removes temporary files that might be corrupted and causing display conflicts without deleting any of your personal data.
Power off your Galaxy S24 Ultra completely.
Connect your phone to a PC or laptop using a USB-C cable.
Press and hold the Volume Up button and the Power button simultaneously until the Android Recovery menu appears. Use the Volume buttons to navigate down to Wipe cache partition and press the Power button to select it.
Select Yes to confirm, and then select Reboot system now once it finishes.

Further Assistance

If the flickering persists after completing these steps, this may indicate a hardware-related issue with the display panel. We highly recommend backing up your data using Samsung Smart Switch and bringing your device to an Authorized Samsung Service Centre. Our certified technicians will be able to perform a comprehensive diagnostic test and provide the necessary repairs.

We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused and are committed to getting your device back to optimal working conditions.

Warm regards,
Samsung Support Team
