Galaxy SSamsung is going to hold a Galaxy Unpacked event tomorrow where it will launch the Galaxy S25 series. While the company is occupied with that, it hasn’t forgotten about older devices. The South Korean tech giant has released a new software update to its flagship smartphones from 2022, the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and the Galaxy S22 Ultra.
It offers the January 2025 security patch which fixes a bunch of issues. Samsung has made it available for the carrier-unlocked variants of the three phones, which have model numbers SM-S901U1, SM-S906U1, and SM-S908U1. The software update changes their firmware versions to S901U1UES7EXL8, S906U1UES7EXL8, and S908U1UES7EXL8.
