Galaxy S
People i am having a small trouble. I put my battery protection to 90% limit but when I charge my phone and hits 90 immediately in a few seconds it drops to 89 without even touching it. Can anyone tell me should I have any fear? Also the battery drain is comparatively very fast when I am using the phone and it is not soo good as I saw in the reviews 😅. Pls help me samsung 😢.

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing concerns with your Galaxy S24's battery behavior. Let's address each of your observations:
1. Immediate Drop from 90% to 89% After Charging:
When you set a battery protection limit (e.g., 90%), the charging process stops once that threshold is reached. It's not uncommon to observe a slight and immediate drop (like from 90% to 89%) after unplugging the device. This behavior occurs because the battery naturally settles after reaching the set limit, and the system reflects the most accurate charge level. Many users have reported similar experiences, noting quick drops from 100% to 90% or 80% to 79% shortly after charging.
2. Faster Battery Drain During Usage Compared to Reviews:
Battery performance can vary based on individual usage patterns, settings, and the applications installed. While reviews provide a general expectation, real-world usage often differs. Factors such as screen brightness, background apps, and network activity can influence battery life.
Recommendations to Optimize Battery Performance:
Optimize Device Performance:
Navigate to Settings > Battery and device care > Optimize now. This feature closes unused apps and manages abnormal battery usage.
Adjust Display Settings:
Lower screen brightness and reduce screen timeout duration to conserve battery.
Manage Background Applications:
Some apps continue to run in the background, consuming power. Review and restrict background activity for apps that you don't need running continuously.
Enable Power Saving Mode:
Activate Power Saving Mode to limit background activity and extend battery life.
Keep Software Updated:
Ensure your device is running the latest software version, as updates often include battery optimization improvements.
If, after implementing these suggestions, you continue to experience rapid battery drain, consider reaching out to Samsung Support or visiting a nearby service center for further assistance. We're committed to ensuring you have the best experience with your Galaxy S24.
