According to tipster Revegnus, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 for Galaxy chip will be made by Samsung Foundry on 2nm SF2 process. TSMC, the Taiwanese chip maker could produce the standard variant, which will power most of the 2025 Android flagships.
The same generation chipset is rumored to be produced on different process technologies. While TSMC will reuse it's 3nm in 2025 Snapdragon, Samsung Foundry could utilize the cutting-edge SF2 (2-nanometer) process.
