Hey everyone,

I recently (1 week back) purchased the Samsung S23 and I'm absolutely loving it! Here are a few images I captured using the device. I’ve been particularly impressed with the portrait mode, the 12MP camera.

However, here are some pros and cons I’ve noticed:

Cons:

1. The 50MP camera tends to over-process images, leaving yellow patches on the skin, especially in direct sunlight or yellow backgrounds and also normal pictures. People/ Person whoever in that image gets optimized into yellowish shade and some patches on there skin post optimization.

2. Gold or shiny colors also appear patchy at times.

I've tried resetting the camera settings, turning off auto HDR, and disabling optimization, but none of this seems to fix the issue. While the image looks fine post-capture, it takes about 3-4 seconds for the processing to happen, and then the patches appear.

Pros:

The portrait mode and 12MP camera perform exceptionally well, compensating for the 50MP camera's shortcomings.

The color correction and richness in the images from these modes are just perfect.

I'm looking for some answers if anyone had some issues and resolved it.

I hope @Samsung addresses this issue in their next security patch or update.
Out of the box it was not 6.1 Version. I have updated to 6.1 and then started noticing this issue.
