It was a pleasent Saturday morning until I decided to get rid of that update software notification which was bothering me for few days. The worst decision of my life for sure. As soon as the update started the phone got hot, though it was able to complete the update. After that as soon as I was navigating through the apps, the first restart happened and then it went on and on for the entire day. Till the time I had to drain the entire battery out.
My next thought was since it's happeing due to heating I should keep the device in fridge so that I could atleast back up the necessary data, and was able to do so, but the same thing repeated itself so couldn't do it entirely.
The next day I went to the service centre and these guys are telling that it's a motherboard issue and it would cost around 70% of the cost of phone for replacement.
So the real question is it was Samsung who released this update and without even testing on devices if they would be able to handle it, these guys are randomly throwing out updates. Even for premium phones if these issue persist then what's the tag of selling it as premium if you want us to replace phones every 2 years. What's the point of providing 5 years of security updates. Even you guys know that we won't use the phone for that long because of your **bleep** updates.
All I can say is that I have lost trust in the brand that I used to care about.
Shame on you!

I did the sept security patch update hoping it would solve it but I am not sure it's working or not. I did a factory reset recently and have minimal apps on my phone. Now I am not able to open my camera and gallery app but phone is working fine. Don't know what's the issue.

From what ur saying
1. Something is overheating the device and since u factory reset it, doesnt look like an app issue. It could very much be related to father board.

Yeah I am thinking the same, that's why using minimal apps for the time being. Would repair from local shops or exchange, that's the only way out it seems.

Sad indeed. However, I could suggest you to download stock oneui latest firmware for your device and flash it with odin on PC. If any software issue that should be resolved. If that doesn't help then you definitely have a faulty device.
