Hi everyone,

I am writing to share my experience with my Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus. After a recent software update, my phone developed a green line on the screen. This issue appeared out of nowhere and seems to be related to the update itself.

I contacted Samsung customer care, expecting a resolution. However, to my surprise, I was told I would need to pay for a screen replacement. As a loyal customer, I find this unacceptable. The problem occurred after a software update, which is clearly not my fault.

I’ve also escalated the matter by emailing the CEO, but I have yet to receive any response. It's disappointing to see a company like Samsung, known for its innovation and customer service, treat valued customers like this.

I hope Samsung addresses this widespread issue soon and offers a solution without pushing the cost onto customers.

Has anyone else faced the same problem? How did you resolve it?

I have yellow line on my S21fe. Display already replaced before 10 month ago .Once again same issue.lt seems that samsung is either using inferior hardware on their flagship phones or they don't have control over software update.

Adarsh, that's the challenge. Pink line, green line, or red line is a display issue that does not seem to be physical damage nor introduced by customers like us. I had to replace for my mobile for Rs 20000/-. Only other option is to live with it but eventually screen will go off

When I am talking to the customer care team
They are mentioning like their terms and conditions is to not provide anything after warranty
Iam not sure whether software update problems are also included in this.
If this is the issue , how can we buy a samsung phone.
They are saying like they are going to provide 5 years software update ,
If this is the case they should provide 5 Years warranty
I think that will be the best option
Or else buy samsung phone to use for 1 year
But how can someone buy a premium phone and use only for one year🥲
What are they expecting from us
