Samsung S21 FE Macro mode removed in OneUI 5.0

Macro mode was available on S21 FE and I was using it for quite sometime. Yesterday i noticed that it's missing from camera app.

I don't know if it's my camera app bug or samsung stripped off the Macro mode from all S21 FE devices in latest 5.0 update...

Note: if am not wrong there was no dedicated macro mode in S21 fe, you can use telephoto lens or pro mode(and adjust focus)

Yup no dedicated camera lens, but there was a macro option that opened and asked to be at a distance of 3-5 cm and took good macro shots.
Tried resetting, didn't work

Yup, macro mode worked with the wide angled camera like many other devices.

Try opening wide angled camera and go close to an object for taking a macro shot. May be they made it automatic without a specific option for it. My bro haven't updated his s21fe yet. Usually, I advise everyone to wait for a month to update. Because Samsung is known to cause serious issues with updates.

Please check if he still has Macro option in camera.
Wide angle has fixed focus so basically it can't take shot in less distance in S21 FE.
I have taken images with macro so I know it was there....I don't know why they removed

I remember using it, but samsung support kind of wrote that they will forward feedback for this new feature to development team! 😅

Ah don't mind them. They usually give non sense replies. Bots are better than them. They once gave me a solution for s22 ultra telephoto lens when I asked about stabilization issues on A52s5g. In another instance they said that M52 has emmc storage while it actually has ufc. The list goes on. They are hilariously useless.
