I do not get the SMS verification code to verify the ICICI card that I am trying to add to Samsung Pay application on my S8 device. Has anyone had the same issue? If yes, what is the fix?

First check whether sms service is working or not from your carrier side

than check samsung pay app permission settings .

than check your card or card type is supported or not

than try again

If ICICI card is eligible for Samsung pay then this might be happening because of bank's network/server error..so give it sometime..or check with your bank whether there is any problem in sms verification..because these errors are common..(In general)..or contact Samsung pay customer care..

I waited for SMS multiple times but never received it. So definitely it is not network error. I tried reaching out to both Samsung Pay and bank as well and no one has the answer. Samsung team always ask me to remove, restart and add card and try again. Bank has no clue what I am talking about.

May be there is network problem or bank server problem

Definitely not network problem as I receive SMS from almost all applications instantaly. Server problem also could be once or twice but not always.
