Hi guys,

I've got a Samsung S10 Lite which is suffering from charging issues and headphone disconnections. It's getting worse day by day so, I spoke to Samsung customer support and was adviced to go to service center.

Now here's where the troubles began. I'm based out of Hyderabad, and not a single authorised service center here is picking up their phones. In most cases the numbers are actually deactivated, else they don't pick up. Online customer support doesn't have alternate numbers or if they do, it doesn't work as well.

The Samsung support homepage asks customers to call the service center before going there, especially to find out if they have the parts ready at hand. Going out just to enquire about parts availability is not something I'm fond of during Covid times.

On top of all this hoopla, the new WhatsApp chat is the worst customer support I've received in my life. They send you information of service centers that basically do not exist on their website.

So at this stage, Samsung customer support is nothing but a bad Google search, one that I could've done easily instead of going through this hassle.

So, my question is - is this how Samsung customer support operates?

I don't think you are alone. I also found overall customer service, support poor from Samsung.
Their live chat or WhatsApp support is very robotic, lack common sense , hardly provide any information which already don't know.
Their promised callbacks are never done.
Overall I am also not at all happy.
