Samsung Galaxy S25 will be equipped with 12GB RAM and Snapdragon 8 Elite chips. It’s big news for potential buyers outside the United States. The latest revelation brings two big inputs for all Samsung fans internationally.

The Galaxy S25+ and S25 Ultra are already confirmed to use Snapdragon 8 Elite. Now, the latest Geekbench appearance of the vanilla model solidifies assumptions of no Exynos in Samsung’s flagship lineup this year, even in Europe.

Snapdragon chips usually offer better performance and stability than Exynos. In the S24 series, Samsung opted for a dual-chip strategy, shipping the S24 Ultra with Snapdragon, and while S24 and S24+ with Exynos in most countries.

Apart from the chip, the vanilla Galaxy S25 may come with 12GB RAM as standard. The S24 starts with 8GB RAM paired with 128GB of memory. The base configuration of 12GB and 256GB will be a decent upgrade on the Galaxy S25.

Memory and storage play second fiddle to CPU and battery capacity. I have never used more than 8Gb /128Gb. Never felt the need. No lag, stuttering at all.
S25 with 12Gb/256 Gb will only add to price increase.
Secondly front camera is 50MP wide, again little benefit for normal user.
Battery same as S24.

To me S25 is a non starter and sale dampener. Not worth migrating unless you have money to throw.

True, not much upgrade from S24. But Regarding Storage, Samsung itself takes 20-30% of storage so yes 256 GB is useful for some people.
