Samsung Galaxy S23 - Weird display tint while charging

Hi fellow Samsung Members!

I recently noticed that my S23 shows a weird display tint while charging.

How did I notice the issue?

- I connected the phone to the charger.

- I waited for the phone's display to turn off.

- The AOD display appears. This shows only the current battery percentage, and how long it takes for the phone to be charged.

- At this moment, the phone does not show any tint (refer to Image A). It's pitch black.

- After a few minutes, a weird gray tint appears (refer to Image B).

My phone runs on the latest version of the software. I want to know whether this is a defect or not.

This was a problem with some other devices like A52s too immediately after launch. This is a software issue and they will fix it with the coming updates (atleast that's what happened in the case of A52s5g). Just give them feedback and report the error.

Anyway, try whether this happens when you watch a completely black scene or when you watch a pitch black image. That is to confirm whether it's happening outside AOD.

Thanks for explaining this to me. I checked the display for tint issues as soon as I got the phone. I did not find any problems then. I think this problem exists only when the phone is charging.

To report the error, should I go to Support -> Send Feedback -> Error Reports?

Its a software issue in the next update it will get fixed so don't worry

Do you face this type of issue, when the phone is in dark mode and opening Any apps, just a white or grayish color appeared around the camera cut out I'm every apps, it looks weird. Please check and confirm. It will clearly visible in night time.

May I know how you got that brown coloured theme near the camera cutout? I tried changing the theme on mine, but I cannot reproduce the same colour as yours.
