Samsung Galaxy S23 - 256GB/8GB RAM Reality

I had recently purchased New Samsung Galaxy S23 - 256GB/8GB RAM variant and then I installed a app "AIDA64" to know which hardwares actually inside my phone, (Prossessor Name, RAM etc.) Then I saw this reality is 7GB RAM inside.

Please comment if your galaxy phone is also showing this.

Why Samsung ?

1 gb ram is reserved by Android and no app can get access to it hence usable ram remains 7gb. Don't worry you have got 8 gig of ram.

How many day old is it?If it is under 14 days.Then you can complain and try replacing it from where you bought.As Samsung doesnot provide international warrenty and claim.So you cannot replace it here in India.And you need to go back from where you bought it as your's one is international variant

I bought this from Flipkart in the Big Billion Day sale, I had received the phone on 29th Sep'24, today is 6th & the device is 7 days old only.

Then you can visit service center and ask for replacement.Try once.But possibly you won't get help from them as your S23 is international S23.And Samsung never provide international warrenty
