Galaxy SThe exact cause of the green line issue is not known, but it is believed to be related to a problem with the phone's AMOLED display. AMOLED displays are made up of tiny organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs), and each OLED can produce its own color. When one of these OLEDs fails, it can cause a vertical green line to appear on the screen.
The green line issue can occur on any Samsung device that has an AMOLED display, but it is most commonly seen on newer models, such as the Galaxy S22 series and the Galaxy Z Fold 4. The issue can also occur after a major software update, such as a new Android version.
There is no way to fix the green line issue without replacing the phone's display. If you are experiencing this issue, you should contact Samsung customer support for assistance.
Here are some things you can do to prevent the green line issue from occurring:
Avoid dropping or hitting your phone.
Do not expose your phone to extreme temperatures or moisture.
Update your phone's software regularly.
Back up your data regularly in case your phone needs to be repaired.
If you do experience the green line issue, it is important to contact Samsung customer support as soon as possible. They will be able to help you troubleshoot the issue and determine if your phone is eligible for a free repair.

Galaxy SIn my samsung s21 Ultra i am facing the same vertical Green line issue. I was using my phone normally, suddenly I noticed a green line appearing on my screen lightly which was not visible too much, quickly I restarted my phone, installed the latest software update and restarted my phone and after that the green line became bright green and directly visible on the screen. Is this a software or hardware issue?
I never expected to face these type of issues on a Samsung S21 ultra device.
I think iPhone is far better than Samsung, at least they don't have these type of issues.

Galaxy S- I am a user of S21 plus... I got a green line almost 3 months back and now that green line haz turned pinkish. Recently 4 days back another green line has developed on my screen. , at this rate soon my phone will appear like a guitar having strings. After calling customer care I get the same feedback stating that ur need to replace screen... what a below the belt service. And u mean to say, that inspite of problem with ur product we need to pay for repairs??? Surprising... I am a sincere user of Samsung phones since past 20 years.... Have always purchased the most expensive phones available. But after this issue and the response received for the same I am extremely sorry to myself for trusting ur company... Henceforth will never buy ur product range in any for myself or anyone in my family. Thanks an good luck.

Galaxy SI am. Also facing the same issue of vertical green line on the dispaly. Its ok if one or two member gets this issue but number of people getting this issue means its problem with the product. You must be conder it for repair or replacement from Samsung. You should accept that there is an issue with product only.
Thanks,
Chandrakant
