[SOLVED] Pink Verticle Line Issue in S22+ Display

I got a pink vertical line on my 1 year old S22+ while I was using it couple weeks ago (Sun 5th May, 2024). When I looked around to see what caused it, I came to know this issue has affected so many other users of various amoled devices from Samsung.

When I reported the same to a Samsung Service Centre, they inspected my device and told me it's the same known issue but they no longer offer free service as that guidance has ended as of Apr 30, 2024.

Then I came across @Anand_Avnish's post:

As advised in that post and many others, I filed a complaint with National Consumers Helpline (ref. 5795373). Today (19th May) I got a call from Samsung support and they are not willing to offer assistance at all, repeating that my warranty expired. However, I'm not letting this go already. I asked them for further escalation and I'll be filing a case with the consumer court if that didn't help. 

I wrote this post just so others can understand how many others are facing the same issue and how pathetic Samsung's quality of product and service has become. I'll keep this post updated on how my effort goes into getting this mess fixed. 

Update (30th May):
After asking for further escalation, I got a call from a Customer Experience Manager the next day who then got me an approval to replace the display with only service charge (650/).
I submitted my phone to the nearest service center earlier this Monday and finally got my phone back today with new display.
