Software support for S9 has ended in March this year. It will only receive quarterly security patches now.

Samsung has ended the software support for S9 series, as it has completed it's 4 years of promised support. The last update you got was a GPS fix update. You won't get any further updates.

Yes, my mistake. It was security patch update not the software update.

Dear @Roshankumawat since the software updates has ended this year. SAMSUNG will release Security patches on quarterly basis.

Meanwhile to boost your phone speed :

Take back and factory reset your phones once a year or half yearly to get the best possible performance in long run.

All these update make you s9 slow.
That's every smartphone company strategy.
I suggest you to install custom rom or root device and over clock the processor.
