S8+ heating when applying maximum resolution 9.0

After updating my GS8+ to stable android 9.0, I am experiencing that if I crank up the resolution to maximum (2960×1440), the back side of the phone where the processor lies near the flash heats up rapidly even when I don't use the device. 
This problem was not there in the pie betas. 
This is very irritating as for people who like to use the maximum resolution like me are not able to do it.

may it be resolved in future update .
might be because of software issues



now a days heating is common in almost every devices...

buddy clear cache in recovery mode. I had charging issues but after clearing cache, the problem got solved !

I usually use my phone in full resolution, i havent faced such heating issues, once clear the cache, it may solve this to some extend
