Galaxy S
At times the rear camera is fixed in near focus due to which the whole picture is blurred. This issue is persistent until the phone is shaken slightly. Is it a hardware malfunction or what? I've read about it on a few blogs which said the issue is with the OIS sensor.. Please advice.

This issue has to be dealt with both hardware and software. Sorry to say this cannot be fixed. you will find it in Note 8 as well. Always keep in mind that if you need a good camera especially for smooth recording, you need to either opt for google pixel or an iPhone.

Its just a minor thing and shaking the phone once will solve the problem. I don't think I'd switch to Apple or Pixel just to record videos. My S8 takes superb videos.
Thanks :)
Thanks :)

if it is a permanent problem, then Samsung should mention it. in other words they are selling a defective product knowingly.
