I made a mistake buying S7. Wasted almost 50k rupees. Lots of bugs after Nougat update. The phone doesnt charge properly. Fast charge doesnt work at all. Everytime I have to keep an eye on this phone while charging to check if its charging or not. Its stops charging sometimes. Else it charges very very slow. I tried using other chargers and cables. Its of no use. No use even after performing factory reset and clearing cache partition. I think even 6k redmi phone doest behave this way. Many users are complaining the same charging issues. I am surprised to see that even the latest S8 and S8+ users are reporting the same. But Samsung never cares. They are ruining the well working phones with their stupid updates. I am fed up with this. I have been facing this since two months. I regret my decision of buying Samsung over Apple. Its true. I realised finally. I am not Apple fanboy. Please dont get attracted by stupid features that samsung gives you. No one uses them any how. All that we need is a stable and non laggy working phone with regular updates. Samsung never does it. Never ever Samsung again. Bye. Have a look at the screenshot I've attached. Charges 1% in 24 minutes with fast charging enabled. 5% in 31 minutes.People might argue with me that their devices are fine. They are lucky for not having these issues. There are many defects in battery manufacturing too I hope. Thats why they are slowing down charging when it reaches certain temperature. We all know what happened with Note7. The probability of defective devices is also increasing. Like 1 in 100 might face this issue. But we get to know only when we face the issue personally. I accept that many other devices are working fine. I wrote this out of my frustration. Beware of this guys. I think I am going to file a case in consumer forum. I request all the guys who are facing similar issues, respond to this and you too file a case in consumer forum. It is of no use going to service centre as the problem ia with the software itself. They cant do anything other than factory reset or reinstalling the software using SmartSwitch.46ccf2e7-2167-4b8d-ac66-24407f87c381.jpg

Thank you for your query. The relevant department may serve you better/speedily, if you can provide logs/video by registering this feedback in Error Section (Samsung Members App -> Feedback -> Questions/Errors -> Create -> Error reports).

I am using both S7 and S7 Edge. Both are perfectly fine. Although it is true that after the May update, phone got a bit warmer which is making the battery draining rate faster than usual but apart from that, no other problem.
And just to inform you, fast charging depends on the outside temperature as well as the voltage of the socket.
If it is hot out there which will warm your device anyway, your phone won't be fast charging and same if you are not getting proper voltage.
I have experienced different charging conditions at different places.
