Galaxy SOfcourse its going to heat
its a hardware problem not a software problem
even the midrange chip of qualcomm 712 has better performance.
Its only looks premium
performance is no longer flagship

Galaxy Sexynos 8890 octa is a good chip which is equal to sd 712 and only after this update the gaming performnace dropped not because of chip and some heating issue.
I will tell you the reason for heating issue.
The cpu in s7 edge is overclocked by november 2019 patch update which created heating issue and throttling problems.
S7 edge's cpu was to be clocked at 2.3 Ghz but they clocked it to 2.6Ghz which is the problem done with software update
