Hi everyone. My battery of my 24 ultra drains very quickly and I bought this phone specifically for battery specs. Anyone know if I should take the phone in to get checked or what?

Are you permanently using 5G or mobile communications? This will drain your phone's battery faster than when it is permanently connected to Wi-Fi. My S22 Ultra lasts almost 2 full days even 3 years of me using it, but it is almost always connected to Wi-Fi.

I had it permanently set to 5G this morning. I changed it. Will see how it performs now. I done some research and I saw a post that said resetting to factory and not using smartswitch worked. Any thoughts??

Not that I'm aware of. Also I see you're using a iPhone charger. Consider getting a Samsung charger. I too have with my previous phone used an iPhone charger and noticed that my phone doesn't quite last as long. With a Samsung charger I have no problems. It could be this.

Alright there's one or two things I need to say thinking on the top of my head;

1. The first two weeks when you get a modern day Samsung smartphone there's this feature called 'adaptive battery' which monitors your usage of the phone as the battery adapts to your pattern so that it lasts as long as possible so battery drain during this period may be abnormal until it automatically normalizes after the learning period.

2. I'm sure you know how frowned upon not using an original charger is and in your case you're the proof why it's frowned upon, there're two issues here: 1) the Apple charging block may have the same charging standard but it doesn't have the Samsung customized charging standard (Fast Charging and Super Fast Charging) and 2) I'm assuming you're not using the specific Samsung USB cables that supports fast charging and even if you did the phone won't take advantage of the specialized charging since it can tell that you're using a different type of brick so I'm assuming it charges at the default charging speed(the green circle that pops up when you plug it in.)

3) That being said the battery will behave differently since it the phone knows you're not using a Samsung charging brick so I would recommend that you get one, preferably the 45W but you can also get the 25W since the charge time difference is minimal.

So I believe that once you get the Samsung charging brick, you're exprience would be similar to the rest of us 🙃
