I've had my S25 since 5 days now and the battery is still draining like crazy, i charge it till 80% and use it till it reaches 20%. I get around 2.5 hrs of screen on time with light browsing.
The battery setting showed "learning usage pattern" for the initial 3 days and now it shows the remaining battery time.
So has it adjusted to my use?
How long should i wait for this to settle down?

You can wait for one week

Then you'll get good battery backup for sure

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing battery issues with your new Galaxy S25. Let's work together to understand and address this concern.

When you first start using your Galaxy S25, the device undergoes a learning phase where it adapts to your usage patterns to optimize battery performance. This process typically takes about two weeks, although some users have reported improvements within a week. During this period, it's common to see fluctuations in battery life as the system adjusts.

Given that you've been using your device for five days, it's likely still in this optimization phase. Even though the "learning usage pattern" message has disappeared, the system continues to refine its understanding of your habits.

In the meantime, here are some steps you can take to help improve battery performance:

Enable Adaptive Battery: This feature limits battery usage for infrequently used apps. You can activate it by navigating to Settings > Battery and Device Care > Battery > Adaptive Battery.

Adjust Display Settings: Lowering screen brightness and reducing screen timeout duration can conserve battery life.

Monitor App Usage: Some apps may consume more power than others. Review battery usage in Settings > Battery and Device Care > Battery to identify and manage high-consuming apps.

Restrict Background Activity: Limiting background activity for certain apps can prevent unnecessary battery drain.

For more detailed guidance on extending battery life, you can refer to this resource:

If, after two weeks, you still experience significant battery drain, please reach out to Samsung Support or visit a nearby service center for further assistance. We're committed to ensuring you have the best experience with your Galaxy S25.
