After the recent software update (Febrauary Batch), my S25 base model is a disaster. The battery drains insanely fast, and the phone overheats within minutes of use,

Charging speed decreased alot due to overheating. It was working normally for the first month, but directly after this update the battery life significantly dereased, this update has clearly broken something. This isn’t just a minor issue—it seems a major software bug that needs immediate attention! Samsung, Please, this needs to be fixed.

Yes. This is what I said in my post. And also praised about the battery performance in S25 ultra in one of the post. I was getting around 10 to 11 hrs when connected with wifi. But now after the FEB update the result is different. Now getting around 6 to 7 hrs SOT and in wifi. Many user claiming that they got 12 hrs SOT even after Feb update.

Thanks alot for replying , but this is not the case here, I already aware about most of the tips & tricks related to enhancing battery life, and already most of them were done since I got the device, becaue I am very keen about battery life. and battery already was normal for 1 month.

But what happened suddenly after the update was very weired and my device really got mad with severe battery drain for 1 full day,  So I shocked.

I contacted local support , they asked me to Reset All setting (NOT factory reset) , I did , but the issue persist till battery dead completely for the first time. then i recharged while it is off , after that I started to feel some battery improvment close to its state before the update, still I am monitoring to see, still little heat.
