From the first day I received my phone, I have noticed some noise in the phone. Initially, I thought it was a feature, but after a few days, I realized that it is an issue that affects most S24 Ultra devices.

I understand that it is normal to see some noise when viewing dark colors with low brightness (less than 10%). However, with brightness over 30%, the noise should not be present. Unfortunately, I am still experiencing the noise even at 20 to 30 percent brightness.

The noise is particularly noticeable at night when I am typing, reading Reddit forums, scrolling through Chrome, or using the settings menu with grey areas.

Unfortunately, the return window for my phone has now closed, so I am unable to return it. I am not sure how helpful the service center will be, as there is no clear guidebook for them to perform a quality assurance check for this issue, and it is not easy to obtain a DOA (Dead on Arrival) letter. Even if everything goes well, there is a low probability that a new unit will not have the same issue again, as we do not know if this problem has been addressed and fixed in production.

For reference, the Samsung A54 and Tab S9 have also experienced similar issues.

I am disappointed that Samsung shouldn't make such an error in their flagship device without proper investigation. It seems that their quality control is lacking. A random individual display scientist (from Reddit) was able to conduct a study of the S24 Ultra device display and elaborate on the mura issue.

Am happy to proven wrong this is software issue not hardware .

If any idea or suggestions , appreciated and welcome for discussion.

I agree. The display is not as good as the S23U. Also I have found that there is more colour banding in this display compared to the S23U display. Both are 8 bit panels but the 23u display is better.

I Guess Banding is softwares issue, because even screenshots its visible. If its hardware it shouldn't visible in screenshots

I also feel day by day Samsung phones are missing vibrant display . I am using S23U but I still feel, my N10plus display was far better than S23U.

The color grading seems to be off in the s24 series, ima s23+ user never felt a problem with the display...but I think it will be fixed in the coming updates..though it doesn't seem like a hardware issue
