I got this US version phone which has only 1 physical sim slot amd other is esim. What if i buy a dual sim slot, will both my physical sim work? I don't want to use the esim

Not possible as it wont have such hardware to support 2 physical SIMs

All US version phone are single sim only
If you want to by dual Sim then you have to buy it from outside but still you won't be able to use 2 sim in it in USA .. it will work in other county like india but in USA it will not
