S23 plus UAE version usage in another country

Hi, I'm planning to changing my phone to a samsung s23 Plus from Dubai the UAE version as it's the cheapest from amazon but i'm wondering if it is going to work normally in Morocco as in UAE...Are there any precautions or actions to take before taking it to Morocco.

UAE version isn't carrier locked. It just an international version tuned to have or lack features in The UAE. But network will work internationally.

I've read somewhere that it can be carrier unlocked and region locked at the same time and to get rid of region restriction the phone need to be used for the first time with a SIM card in UAE and make about call for 5 min for the two slots if it's DS.

I want to make sure if this is true.

I remember one year I bought the S10 Plus from India from a Samsung store and used it in the Emirates.

When I returned to India and activated its network, my Samsung UAE store changed to the India store, and the phone worked in any country I went to without problems.

UAE version means it is an official TRA registered device.

All mobiles that are officially here in the UAE come as Sim-free thus can work anywhere in the world, as well, most features might not be supported in the international version in UAE, and visa versa.
