1. Smoothness : This unfinished one ui 7 is a disaster. Yeah the new animations are cool, that is if it works. Most of the time it skips frames. Especially when you quickly take a picture and come home to open another app, for eg whatsapp. It took more than 3 seconds to open up. Overall the ui smoothness and responsiveness is miles behind any chineese manufacturer.

Camera: How the hell did they justify the pricing of this smartphone considering the subpar video recording capabilities of this phone. You can't take a single good video. The videos have framedrops everywhere. Somethimes it blatantly lags to the extend that it records 1 fps. How come they can't fix this after 2 years of the release. Still can't switch lenses while recording 4k 60. Is this some kind of joke. Even ancient iphones can do that.

Ram management: another joke. No wonder samsung keeps up with other chineese manufactures with silicon carbide battery. Just kill background apps.

Gaming: dont even think of high end gaming. The phone will turn into an oven.

Note: i haven't installed good lock as using that makes this phone even slower. I also did a reset after one ui 7 because the overall experience and battery life was horrible.

Overall i find the same trend repeating. After 2 years samsung deliberately throttles you phone and experience. Last year i had the same experience with s22 plus. As soon as s24 releases, the then latest update starts to cripple the phone.

I think the issues are arising because they ditched expendable memory. Because if you have a memory card, the load on the phone's memory reduces drastically and everything works smoothly. They even got rid of the dual SIM card tray and adopted that trashy hybrid SIM slot. These companies want more and more control over the consumer And we should be able to stop that.
