My S23 Ultra camera has serious issues. The daylight pics with sky produce bands, hues and line like structures, same happens if you capture dark areas at night using night mode or normal mode. The resultant pics are distorted and look **bleep**.
2nd camera issue: When same scene is captured using 12 MP mode, then using 200 MP, the 200 MP distorts colors of leaves completely and turns them brown which isn't visible in 12 MP photo of same scene. This points towards serious defect in 200 MP photos, makes them look totally **bleep**, unreal and distorted rather than enhancing it.
Really unacceptable that so called flagship and overhyped camera phone costing Rs. 1 lakh takes distorted pictures, when even Rs. 10,000 worth phones don't produce such distortion. Samsung, please provide resolution by issuing a software update if it's software issue or replace the phone if its hardware issue as its only 2 months old phone.
Please note that on making error report through Samsung Members app, I was asked to follow some instructions. System logs have already been sent. I have no scratches on camera lens, no protective film over it, its a brand new phone with no damage whatsoever, have already reset camera settings, have already reset phone. Every time I take pic, I clean the lens first then capture. All pics attached are unedited, without pro mode, Have not made any changes in default camera settings. Therefore, general troubleshooting will not work. Needs to be rectified through software update (if caused by software bugs) or replacement of phone (if hardware is defective), otherwise I'll return the phone and seek refund of amount.
I'm attaching pics having distortion to this post, though the app may reduce the size of pics. Note that distortion happens not in every pic but in specific scenarios and circumstances.
