Try these steps it might work :

1. Clear Cache of Camera App
Go to:
> Settings > Apps > Camera > Storage > Clear Cache
Don't tap "Clear Data" yet — it resets all camera settings.

2. Reset Camera Settings
Open Camera > Tap Settings gear > Scroll down > Reset settings

3. Turn Off Scene Optimizer
Go to Camera Settings > Turn off Scene Optimizer (can cause slowdowns).

4. Disable Motion Photo (if enabled)
It's the icon with a small “play” symbol in the camera UI.
