S22 ultra screen flickering immediately after update.

I updated my s22 ultra to 6.1 and immediately after update ,My mobile screen started flickering with horizontal lines all over the display.

When I use my mobile at 60hz standard mode horizontal lines disappeared but flickering is seen at front cam side.

Samsung service centre asked me to pay 22k for display replacement. Issue started because of samsung update and samsung should replace it for free of cost.

Samsung India should kindly look into this issue.

Bro this is samsungs way of selling their latest phones, they release a update that slows down or adds some problems to the phone. Cause they want you to buy the latest phone as you might think the phone is spoilt. This is marketing strategy. It's a trap don't update the older flagship models pls.

Yes, bro ,what you said is true.. my s22 ultra is just 2 years old, and the issue started immediately after the update.i should have gone for some other brand at low price rather than investing in this s22 ultra wich costed nearly 1.15 lakh rupees..

No no I said the phone is very good cause it is flagship. u shouldn't have updated to one UI 6.1 the older 5.1 which it came on was the best. very smooth. I didn't say the phone is bad.

With out update, some bank app won't work

All bank apps work on older one UI
my old M30 can do all types of payments with ONE UI 2.0 and android 10. This phone comes with Android 12 one UI 5.1. What r u talking about bro ??

I completely agree with you...
It first happened with me in 2020 when my note 8 received faulty update and got network bug...
at that point of time i thought it might have been a mistake..


But now i know they did it on purpose as a green vertical line popped out of nowhere on my Galaxy M52 display after a faulty software update...

OK.. but these service centre and customer care are saying u r mobile is having small dent on body due to which only the flickering started and you might be keeping mobile in tight jeans pockets ,due to wich also these kind of issues will be seen..they have their own statements but what actually is the root cause of issue is the update ,after wich the issue occurred.so I asked service centre and customer care for free screen replacement. But they r saying no, it can't be done at free cost as it is due to physical damage.
So I said if it's due to physical damage then it flickering is more with adaptive mode and green lines are not seen in standard mode.they couldn't answer to my question and simply saying it's only due to physical issue.
Yesterday I talked with some customer care,manager varshini so have to see what she will say...regarding my issue..
