S22 ultra JIO ESIM not working

I have got an unlocked s22 ultra graphite color model from USA . Indian carriers are working fine in this one , but I am unable to configure JIO ESIM on my device despite completing all the steps on my own, just to confirm the esim process I tested out on iphone 12 too it worked .

But not working with jio ESIM , I am unable to add the The SIM code from data plan it says "your current plan isnt ready contact your operator" .

Whereas , when I went jio store they tried but the were not able to convert my to esim on this model satting that this could be due to USA model the device isn unlocked so I dont see how that's gonna work ?

Please help to answer whether I would be able to use any Indian Esim (as to use dual sim mode - one Esim and one physical sim ) on this device or not if yes I can port to that operator as well .

If its not unlocked / locked with a carrier , then esim might not work. You can also talk to customer care or service center regarding your issue.

My uncle got a s22 from US and jio esim works for him

In that case, his should also work, right? He clearly said it's unlocked. I think the service center is the way forward.

well thats very strange jio sim is working in my phone but not esim .

So when my uncle got esim, he was not able to select a plan but he was able to make call and stuff

I need to check that if physical sim card gives network coverage or not . even i was not able to add plan , i need to add plan because i am gonna be using 2sim in my phone n only jio will be the esim

First check for physical sim, then after try esim and check for network. If you get network try calling, sms and data.
