Hi recently got a S22+ (SM-S906E/DS) with vodacom as the carrier. However the esim capability seems to be disabled and I am unable to add an eSim. Is there a way in which it can be enabled?

It's impossible, Vodacom has support. I'm using the same device with esim via Telkom.

Go to settings, connections, somewhere around there, there is an option to enable the esim. You have to enable it first before activating it.

Make me understand, how's it disabled by the carrier. Its supposed to available systematically. So you are saying that this no option anywhere in your network connections that displays the esim option, be it appearing shaded?

That's exactly what I'm saying. The option is supposed to be available under Settings -> Connections -> Sim Manager, and it's not there (see screenshot) Screenshot_20221127_135927_Call settings_1000007584_1669550367.png
