Galaxy SREVIEW of S22 with One UI 6.
- Updated it yesterday evening and this review is after 15 hours of usage.
- I was not beta tester so received directly One UI 6.
- To update, I used Smart Switch (not OTA) and after restarting, Wiped Cache Partition.
My feedback so far is very positive..
- New Fonts.. I am loving it
- Slide Pan and Notification Panel looks awesome (on this compact phone)
- No Screen Burn or Green Lines (yes pixel shifting not incorporated yet and may happen in subsequent release from Samsung)
- Battery improved significantly (ex. idle/night time.. previously battery got down more than 10% overnight, now less than 5%) (even during heavy usage, phone is heating less than One UI 5.1 and hence battery is not consumed more.. additionally 5G do not disconnect since it is heating less)
- Icons are bigger (few users reported earlier they did not like but I have no issues and liking it because space it takes is same so better utilization of screen)
- No issues with Mobile 5G network (Checked with Jio & Airtel). ('only 5G' button and 'VoNR' options aren't available)
- Animations are not snappier but I don't have big problem with it. Most times, I like to turn animations off.
- No issues with UPI or Bank apps like some reported (I am not using secure folder)
- 1 to 2 seconds Lag while making a call initially. Also background wallpaper (on call screen) takes 1 additional second to show on caller screen.. there is a blue/purple tint as few users reported. (Minor issue and will get fixed.)
So far.. major positive change.. although there is a room for improvement in adding back "Pixle Shift" and smoothness in animations. I expected VoNR & 5G Only option with One UI 6 but I think that is still getting worked.

Galaxy S- Open calculator app
- Take a screenshot
- Rotate the screen to landscape then back to portrait
- Repeat Step 3 for 5 times
- Open the screenshot in Gallery
- The status (and navigation) bar overlapping your screenshot should be visible, and you should be able to notice whether the status bar elements have moved their position. Navigation bar at bottom are changing positions so you can understand what I am saying.
