S22 Ultra - April 24 update

Is anyone else experiencing massive battery drain after the April 2024 update? I had 24 hours of use before the update and now it doesn't even last a quarter of that time? No settings were changed or additional apps added so unsure if samsung is forcing us to upgrade via these stupid updates.

Yep... S22 user here, and the battery drain is really bad.

Yea s22 ultra user phone on 51 right now was on a 100 at 15h00 its 18h32 now

Apple music also doesn't work properly after the update. It was meant to be a security patch so I don't know why the apps are acting up.

Thank you for reaching out Sameshan, apologies for the inconvenience  caused.

 

Please soft reset your device. Press and hold the power and volume down buttons until the device restarts ( this will not erase data, it is just to reboot the device)

And for the app issue, reset app preferences

1. From the home screen, swipe either up or down to access apps.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select Apps.
4. Select the menu icon in the top right hand corner.
5. Select Reset app preferences.
6. Select Reset.
