So I ended up turning off wifi calling and I haven't heard anyone complain about my phone echoing anymore. Not a great workaround but if anyone can live without that turned on it seems like this helps.

For anyone who has an echo problem, to be sure it's not a hardware problem, here's the procedure:

Open the phone app and enter this code (*#0*#)Open the phone app and enter this code (*#0*#)Tap on Loopback in the bottom leftTap on Loopback in the bottom leftCheck the two microphones at the topCheck the two microphones at the top

When checking the microphones, say something, and you should hear it a few moments later.
If you continue to hear feedback in loop even if you stopped talking, it's a hardware problem.

If it's a hardware problem, we need to replace one of the ICs.

If it's not a hardware problem, you may want to submit an error report in the Samsung Members app.

this code does not work on my at&t variant. I went in "Settings->Device care -> diagnostics" but this does not give an option to test loopback.

I have followed these steps and discovered that on my Samsung Note 10+, the "RCV_1stMic" is echoing.  Not the SPK_2ndMic or the 3rd.  How do I fix this issue?

Thanks,

Brandon

I buy a new galaxy every year. The top of the line model. I will not buy the ultra 23. I'll go to pixel or apple. I've had it.
