For my S22 Plus, I experienced System UI failed issue "System UI" crashes and phone dead, after doing the March Update on 18 March. Did factory reset and still not switching on. Service center saying full motherboard need to be replaced, it is hardware issue after I did software update from Samsung and why I have to pay costs, no physical damage! Repair cost too high , so I want to trade-in, online exchange ok, or in shop exchange, also if my S22Plus switches on or if dead will I get discount for newly launched A57

Bro change the brand. Simple. Why after this hassle u want to switch to an inferior device as compared to s22. A57 is literally an overpriced **bleep**. The s24 is better.

I am experiencing a pink line on my Galaxy S22+ again after the recent software update (18 March 2026).

This same issue had occurred earlier in Nov 2024 after an update and was resolved in Dec 2024 after multiple follow-ups.

Now, the issue has reappeared in the exact same manner following another update.

Response from CEO help desk: “Free repair already given once”

If it’s clearly a software-related defect, why should I pay?

So basically, Samsung can push an update, damage the display, and then charge users for fixing it?

It is concerning to see the same issue repeat on a premium device, especially after updates. Requesting the Samsung team to kindly review this case carefully and provide a reliable resolution.

Would like to know if other users have also noticed similar display issues after updates.GjgRzNGK9r.jpg1775494910668.jpg

Try this, because similar thing happened on my Samsung Galaxy Note 9 , Enabling Developers Mode by tapping Model or Build number when clicking in
Settings
About phone
Software Information

Once Dev Mode is enabled
Search Display Width it should have 411 DPI as default, because in my Note 9 due to whatever update, it was changed to 512 dpi causing green and violet horizontal and vertical lines after an update, I was able to continue my Note 9 till today after doing the above steps.
If it helps 🙏
