Can't comment much without the use-case under which the phone is heating up.

No issue what so ever. On latest update.
Usage: Jio 5g - single sim

At 120hz set always, the backup is relatively lower. Try to prioritize, enable few apps or timing. Based in that create a Routine and enable. This will improve the condition. If you can live with 60hz while enjoying all that you get with the device, then battery backup is really good.
