Samsung dev team should consider a request for providing 4g / 5g quick access toggle and button press option since 5g consumes lot of battery, so one should be able to easily move from 5g to 4g and vice-versa

You can easily get one for yourself by using bixby routines. I have been using that switch since January. Screenshot_20230405_144322_Modes and Routines_1000018722_1680686002.jpg

Go to bixby routines > create new routine > choose start manually in the if clause > choose connections and network mode > select desired mode and done

But as such trigger event is Manual start stop

Tried but not intitive. You have to go routines and each time do start and stop. This is equivalent to what samsung moderator has mentioned though different way of achieving it.

The solution I was looking forward was through quick access panel . Step 1. Slide down quick access panel. Step 2. Just click on the toggle icon.

Better enough do it through some side button configuration.

Routines would work but then use case requires a definite event or a manual start stop. Intelligent solution would be to shift to 5g when 4g is weak for my current data requirement. Pixel phones have something like adaptive network.

Aware of it but it will always use 5g and drain battery. Or we have to keep on doing it manually by following 5 step procedure. Either solution should be intelligent the way it is in pixel phones or it should reduce steps if needs to be done manually.
