S21 Ultra Back Plate Coming off

Hello everyone,

Although I have seen this issue happening with other people but wanted to know if any S21 Ultra owners are facing issues of their back plate coming off due to maybe weak adhesive?

Any recommendations? Device is beyond warranty now as it's almost close to 2 years now.

Everything else seems to be working fine, battery backup, display etc.

Take it to Service center nearby and tell them to stick it up.

How it got out?

When I hold the phone in my hand, since the bottom of the phone rests in my hand thus it stays perfect but when I move my hand upward, I see the back plate slowly create a small gap

Have u repaired the phone anywhere local Anindya?

Not at all. The bottom portion of it is slowly starting to come off. It's not out yet, I can place a sheet of paper between the space. It's also similar beside the camera housing too. I saw it as dust had accumulated there.

Hi there! The issue you are describing can occur because of several reasons, heat, liquid damage, poor quality adhesive, a swelling battery or even just normal wear and tear. Now, the easiest and the best way to solve this is to take it to an authorized service center and get it re-pasted. But from what I've heard, its quite expensive to do so, and by expensive, I mean overpriced. Please revert back in case of queries, and also, please mention the amount they ask for re-pasting, as I am not aware of it. Thanks :)
