Hi,
I have been using this phone for over 3 years and now is the time for battery replacement before I jump on to the next S phone.

Sadly, I am not finding any fresh stock of this here in Bangalore, India.
I did find one original battery but it is manufactured in March 2020, meaning it must be dead by now.
The market is flooded with duplicates. I want a fresh stock of OEM spare battery.

Any help on this. Sad that Samsung doesn't provide fresh batteries and neither does the service personnel know how batteries degrade even if left unused over a prolonged period of time.

Thanks in advance.

I did contact as I didn't want any aftermarket and third parties to mess with the device. My comments are based on the interaction with the authorized agency personnel.

Its is not dead but definetly it wouldn't retain anything more than than what a used battery would in 2-3 years making the replacement practically purposeless.
