S10 app installation takes longer time

When updating apps in play store the installation takes longer time. Download happens faster based on the available network but installation takes about 10 or 15 seconds per app. I was on oneplus6T earlier and installation used to happen in a snap. Just me or someone else is experiencing the same?

Clear cache of play store/google play sevice and check,if it's working fine or not? I also noticed the same but not exactly 10-15 seconds, may be 5 seconds..

tried clearing cache. its taking 20 seconds now. 😀

😂😂😂 20 seconds..bhai aisa to ni ho raha mere saath. I think its network issue or some issue with the google play store, because i noticed that samsung apps hardly takes any time to install..

Installation apps from Samsung store is quicker within 5 seconds. Loojs like problem with Google. Also some research suggests that when phone is set up as new this problem won't occur. I didn't do that during initial setup

it's normal among the devices with android pie installed

Don't want to compare but 6T had pie and it installed fairly quick.

disable smart network switch in wifi settings. it worked for me still takes 5 seconds to install apps above 100mb and 15-20secs for apps which are 1gb+ (These apps or games include files which are stored in android > data > obb)

bro this is Samsung problem since S3
As the device gets older slower the app installs
Only solution is reset
but with time the problem comes again

For Samsung devices, generally the installation time is slow. No idea why this thing in 2020.
for OnePlus, Mi, installation happens in a snap.
