Resolved!!! green line on S20+

Hello,

Today morning 11th of july 2022, all of sudden my phone showing green vertical line.

Can anyone please suggest me what to do with this issue, I tried restarting which couldn't resolved.

I bought this phone 2 years back and never dropped or never in contact with water.

Last week on 5th of july there was one security update, which I updated.

I updated the software send through my S20+ just this morning and after doing so, a vertical thin green line appeared on the screen.  After searching the internet and YouTube for solution on how to fix it, all of the complaints I read was due to the "force" update and there were no solution but to have the screen replaced for a sum of hard earned money.  I don't think this is fair to us who's been very loyal to Samsung products.  Can we file a class suit against our beloved cellphone brand if they will not solve this concern immediately? Or do we have to wait till they act on this global problem?

I updated my samsung galaxy s20+ with the latest software update and just after few days of updation this vertical green line is coming on the display screen,
I have restarted the phone 2-3 times but the problem still persist,
Kindly provide a resolution for the same else i am not left with any other option but to file a law suit

Also the same issue with my s20+ after the update a sudden green line. Just in the center. What now? Phone still looks and feels new.and to make it wkrse right in the middle. Samsung please help. We buy new to get a good thing and now we are screwed.

Yes, don't buy Samsung S series after one year LCD completely damage due to upgraded to new system from S4, S8 and S20 plus..made 2 times LCD replacement for s8. now s20 plus.....oh i give up....slightly dent won't give free replacement for new LCD.

I am not even able to post anything in the community page as it is asking to select a sub category. There is no option to select any sub category. It seems like a scam. I tried to contact the customer support via chat and provided all the screenshots. After reading my entire issue they say that they can help me with the troubleshooting steps with the issue with my phone but cannot help me by resolving the issue occurring while posting in the community.
