Resolved!!! green line on S20+

Hello,

Today morning 11th of july 2022, all of sudden my phone showing green vertical line.

Can anyone please suggest me what to do with this issue, I tried restarting which couldn't resolved.

I bought this phone 2 years back and never dropped or never in contact with water.

Last week on 5th of july there was one security update, which I updated.

I was about to book a s23 ultra exchanging my s20+ and all of a sudden this green line pops up on the screen..

Will they replace the screen for free now ? Uber scared for my incoming s8 + tablet , will skip clear of S23 Ultra and probably get an iPhone instead .Too large an amount to be invested for facing a hardware problem due to some shifty software upgrade

Never update. Wait for week or so to people to give their opinions.

I also own a Samsung s20 plus . The green line appeared all of a sudden without any physical damage . Tried everything possible. Nothing worked . Visited service centre . Recommended change of display for 18 thousand for no fault of mine .Think twice before buying expensive SAMSUNG mobiles since they take no responsibility subsequently despite the fact that it is a known global problem.

My green line disappeared after an update on 4th May 2023. Anyways it was a single thin line that could be clearly seen when using light backgrounds or running a test and making the screen completely green. Hope this helps.
