Since quite some time I am hearing about green line issues occurring on various S series samsung phones.
Well mine is weird as I am getting red line issue.

Due to the various complaints and blogs, I knew there was a green line ongoing with recent updates.

However I am facing a red line issue at the left of screen.
This is the second time this happened and it disappeared as well after a successful update.

When does it happen : 
Since July 2024, when my phone automatically downloads the update and waits for my confirmation to install these updates : This is when I face the red line issue.
Meaning the time from the successfully download of an update until the time I install an update I face a red line. 
Once an update has been downloaded and not installed for 1-2 days , then suddenly a red line appears without any physical damage.
This update which had been downloaded and not installed , then I due to panic suddenly think of installing the downloaded patch. 
The moment I install the patch, the red line disappears again.
This is something seriously which Samsung has to look into.

Even after buying an expensive handset, you expect us to spend more on display replacement cost is not acceptable.
Merely because of a buggy patch which you are releasing / a purposeful tactic to bleed money out of customers is not acceptable.

Using S22. I started seeing a red line too on the left side of the screen. Thin Vertical line. Mann thought it'd last 4 years but **bleep** it's only been 2 years. Guess I need 🍎 in life now!!

Dear Samsung Customer Support Team,

I am writing to bring to your attention a serious issue I am facing with my Samsung device after a recent software update.
Device Details:
Model - Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus
IMEI Number: 350098011012457/01
Date of Purchase: 25/09/2022

Description of the Issue:
Immediately after installing the latest software update, a bright red vertical line appeared on the left side of my screen. Prior to this update, the phone was in perfect condition with no physical or liquid damage.
Upon researching online, I found that many other Samsung users have faced this exact "Green/Red Line" issue following an update. It is clearly a technical defect triggered by the software and not a result of any mishandling.
Request:
Since this is a known technical glitch caused by the official update, I request you to kindly arrange for a free display replacement, even if the device is slightly out of its standard warranty period, as this is a manufacturing/software-induced hardware failure.
I have attached a few photos of the screen showing the red line for your reference.
Looking forward to a quick and positive resolution.
